Daniel Martinez, M.P.A., is a U.S. National Park Service Ranger and chief historian at the USS Arizona and World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument at Pearl Harbor. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the U.S. Naval War College.

Timothy J. Demy, Ph.D., is a professor at the U.S. Naval War College. He previously served as an officer in the U.S. Navy for 27 years.
