Inside, young readers will find the stories of 24 women who dared to be different and changed the course of science and history. Their lives are proof that there are no limits on what can be done by people who have a dream.
Women scientists have changed the world in which we live. Because of their research, experiments, and work, we know more about good health, many diseases, our physical world, and the universe beyond it. Many people live better and longer lives because of remarkable women who looked through microscopes and telescopes to better understand the smallest cells and the most distant stars.
